Mario Kart 1.8.0 Drops on Nintendo Switch 2 Today! Adds SNES Tracks to VS Mode

Nintendo has announced a new update for Mario Kart World and it's live! Patch 1.8.0 introduces new courses to the VS Mode.

We've seen throughout the world various references to SNES courses and now, all 10 are playable in VS Mode. They work much like a regular grand prix style race where you complete laps around the circuit to win. No long courses, just simple tracks with ? Panels instead of Item Blocks to get your precious items.

Nintendo has also announced the addition of two new routes in the Knockout Tour mode: Propeller Rally & Turnip Rally. These new routes can be played and you can achieve a new set of trophies in single player by beating the computers.
